People really like this picture; it’s my ‘most interesting’ on flickr, and it’s recently been selected for use in a Schmaps City Guide for Seattle (see it up in the corner here:  http://www.schmap.com/seattle/activities_pioneersquare/#p=39974&i=39974_58.jpg).  Just goes to show you can do just as well with a $200 dollar camera and (Zeiss) lens as you can with a $2000 camera and lens.

This was my first attempt at push processing. My brother’s band was playing a very dark venue, and all I had was a fast lens and 400 speed Portra. It turned out ok.

Seattle

I really liked the sky that day; it made the buildings look very insignificant. The light was doing weird, cool things all afternoon too.
